Courtesy Visit to Governor OIGAWA of Ibaraki Prefecture
On December 12, 2025, Mr. NAKAJIMA (Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of Toyota Motor Corporation), the newly appointed Chair of the Industrial Users Society for Neutron Application (IUSNA), together with Dr. KOBAYASHI, Director of the J-PARC Center, visited the Ibaraki Prefectural Government Office and met with Governor OIGAWA of Ibaraki Prefecture. IUSNA is an organization that promotes the industrial use of neutron and muon beams at J-PARC.
During the meeting, greetings were exchanged in connection with Mr. NAKAJIMA's appointment as Chair. The importance of the beamlines established by Ibaraki Prefecture and J-PARC, the high-intensity proton accelerator facility where the beamlines are installed, was also introduced.
