"J-PARC Outreach Lecture" held in June 2023

A special outreach lecture titled "Discussion with a J-PARC Researcher - From Daily Use Products to Cutting-Edge Science" was delivered by Dr. MIURA Akihiko from the Administration and Operations Support Division.
Dr. MIURA introduced the properties of X-rays, neutrons and muons, along with an overview of J-PARC's facilities and roles.
Fifteen students, ranging from junior high school first-year to high school second-year, participated in the lecture.
They shared comments such as, "How did you decide on your career path?" and "It was a valuable opportunity to talk with a researcher, as we rarely have such chances."
