How to use User Support System

Step 1. To create a user account for the USS, please enter your personal information, and select a purpose (nature) of your visit and/or a proposal number through the USS. You are requested to update the above information at the first visit and the addition of a new nature of visit of each fiscal year.

Step 2. A confirmation email will be sent to you within three working days from the Uses Office. Now full functions, such as booking the Tokai dormitory, reserving the safety course, submitting of application forms, etc. of the USS are available for you.

› If you use the USS for the first time, click "New User Registration".

› If you have a registered User ID (e-mail address) and password, login to the system to specify a purpose of your visit for this fiscal year. Click "Specification of Purpose of Visit".

If you work on multiple projects/experiments, you must do the procedure separately for each project. This update information is valid through the fiscal year.

Who is a "J-PARC User"?

A person who is registered in the User Support System to work for a project/approved proposal at J-PARC.

What is "User Registration"?

To create a user account (obtain a user ID, i.e. your email address) of the UUS. The user ID is valid through your career as long as you use MLF instruments in the same category (e.g., JAEA beamlines, KEK beamlines).

What is "Specification/Addition of New Purpose of Visit?

To specify a purpose of your visit and update/add your new proposal information for each fiscal year.
